Terms and Conditions – SuckerBuyC

 

General Terms

 

These terms apply to all deliveries. Placing an order implies acceptance of these sales conditions.

 

The goods are shipped at the buyer’s expense and risk to the delivery address provided by the customer. If delivery is impossible, the agreement will be automatically terminated. The seller is obliged to notify the customer in writing before the delivery deadline expires. In case of partial delivery, each delivery will be considered a separate sale.

 

The prices listed are valid at the time of publication and may be subject to change. Shipping costs are not included in the listed prices.

 

As a private consumer, you have the right to withdraw from your purchase within 14 days, starting from the day the goods are delivered to your home. If our products do not meet your expectations, you may return them without penalty and without providing a reason, provided the packaging remains intact. Once the packaging has been opened, the right of withdrawal no longer applies. This right does not apply to business customers.

 

Official legal text: “The consumer has the right to inform the company that they withdraw from the purchase without penalty and without stating a reason within 14 calendar days from the day following the delivery of the goods or the conclusion of the service contract.”

 

Complaints or disputes must be reported within 14 days of delivery via registered mail, or they will be considered invalid. If a complaint is deemed valid, our liability is limited to replacing the goods. The seller’s total liability is limited to the actual amount paid for the order.

 

In case of overdue payments, an interest rate of 1% per month will be charged on the outstanding invoice amounts from the invoice date, without prior notice. If the debt remains unpaid 14 days after a reminder has been sent, a fixed compensation of 10% of the outstanding amount (with a minimum of €50 and a maximum of €2,000) will be due.

 

The seller retains ownership of all goods until full payment has been made.

 

The seller is not liable for advice provided, printing errors on the website, or incorrect technical data supplied by manufacturers or suppliers.

 

Only Belgian law applies to these terms, and any disputes will be handled by the courts of Bruges.

 

All prices in the shop include Belgian VAT.

 

SuckerBuyC is not responsible for any customs duties or taxes that may apply after shipment. We do our best to ensure that prices are accurate, but errors may occur. If a pricing error is found, SuckerBuyC will allow the customer to either accept the corrected price or cancel the order. If we are unable to contact the customer within 30 days, the order will be automatically canceled.

 

Orders are shipped Monday through Friday, excluding legal holidays. SuckerBuyC is not responsible for unexpected delays. Products will be delivered within a maximum of 30 days from the order date, except in cases of force majeure.

 

If a product becomes suddenly and temporarily unavailable, SuckerBuyC will inform the customer via email within 30 days.

 

Since our products are perishable, they cannot be returned.

 

Sales Conditions

 

Goods will be shipped only after payment has been authorized. The goods travel at the buyer’s risk. All our chocolates are freshly made and properly packed before shipment. Damaged, melted, or broken chocolates will not be replaced.

 

Storage Recommendations

 

Do not store chocolates in the refrigerator. Keep them in their closed boxes at normal dry room temperature (ideal temperature: 18°C / 64°F).

    •    Filled chocolates can be stored for up to 6 weeks.

    •    Unfilled chocolates can be stored for 6 months to a year.

 

Production Process

 

To ensure the highest quality and freshness, we produce smaller batches than the average chocolatier. As a result, some pralines may occasionally be temporarily out of stock.

 

Allergies & Dietary Restrictions

 

Since we produce everything on-site, we cannot completely exclude the possibility of cross-contamination. Our workshop processes the following allergens: gluten, eggs, soy, milk, nuts, mustard, sesame seeds, celery, and sulfites. Products may contain traces of peanuts.

 

Returns

 

Since our products are fresh and perishable, returns are not possible.
